Deborah Gaspar Named Director of Sales & Marketing at Zagwear

The industry veteran has more than 25 years of promo experience, including time spearheading marketing and business development for a Top 40 supplier.

Zagwear (asi/365552) says it’s keen to elevate sales to the next level.

The New York-headquartered distributorship has tapped promo industry veteran Deborah Gaspar to spearhead the effort.

Zagwear has hired Gaspar as director of sales and marketing. She comes to the global firm, which has offices in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific, with more than 25 years of promotional products market experience, having previously been director of marketing and business development at Top 40 supplier NC Custom (asi/44900). Her most recent role was chief revenue officer at Wisconsin-headquartered distributorship Sky High Marketing (asi/328476).

At Zagwear, Gaspar’s charge is to oversee strategic sales and marketing initiatives, leading a team that’s set on propelling business growth and deeper client relationships, executives said.

Gaspar’s other past industry experience includes being vice president of branding and promotions at Vanguard (asi/350665) and vice president of marketing and business development at Positive Promotions (asi/297370). An active volunteer in promo, Gaspar serves as vice chair of the SAAGNY Foundation, the goodwill arm of the Specialty Advertising Association of Greater New York.

Founded in 1995, Zagwear counts more than 100 global brands as clients. Average client tenure is more than 12 years, the firm said.
